Effective Weight Lifting Tips For Beginners

muscle-building-tips

Have you ever flexed your muscles in front of the mirror and found the results disappointing? Have you ever thought of starting weight lifting? Have you wanted to lift weights, but were intimidated by the thought of huge dumbbells?

Fret not! Beginners to weight lifting, have a specific exercise routine that can be practiced, so as to get those muscles in no time. The truth is, weight lifting is not only about lifting huge and heavy weights. There are also other forms of exercises, which can help to build up other muscle groups.

For beginners, you need to start lifting weights, around every 48 hours. You can choose to work every day of the 5 day work week & then take the weekends off, or you could workout every other day, alternating with a day's rest between each workout day.

A myth to be busted is that more training is better for budding bodybuilders. That is actually not true, since taking break for a day, is better, as this will help your muscles to adjust with the physical routine of weight lifting. Plus, the workout period itself, should never exceed 1 hour each time.

Scientific studies have proven that training for more than an hour, puts too much stress on your heart. Being in the gym for 1 hour is a sufficient enough workout, to accomplish the physical goals of your training regime. Therefore, total concentration is very important during engaging in such gym workouts, so that you do not waste your time being distracted or fooling around.

Beginners to body building & weight training should start exercising, with full body workouts and never with split routines. This means that each time you train, every muscle group is properly focused on. For example, never start with just your arm for 1 whole week, your abdomen the next week & your lower half the week after that. This sort of broken-up exercise routine is not right for beginners to engage in.

In 1 hour, train all the muscles with the proper exercise routines. There are 7 forms of exercises needed to be learned. In this case, they are squats, dead-lifts, bench presses, horizontal rows, overhead press, pull ups and dips. You can ask a certified or professional physical trainer at your gym for more information on how to conduct each exercise correctly.

Finally, when you have completed each exercise in its proper form, it is then time to increase the number of weights you can lift. Taking your time in learning all 7 exercises mentioned above is a time well spent. You can bee assured of an increase in your muscle mass, after the successful completion of each exercise. Make sure to practice them each & every day, so as to prevent yourself from performing them incorrectly. If the workout routines are not done in the proper way, your body will not have physically benefited from the exercises, and you would have ultimately wasted all of your time.

After finishing these proper forms of training, increase the weights gradually and force your muscles to get used to the change. Investing in a professional or certified personal trainer, is worth it, if you are not sure of what you are doing.

Follow these workout routines & exercise tips, designated for beginners, and be prepared to be amazed by the results.
